Ascendas to City Center

Last Saturday, I decided to try something different as I got fed up with the home menu.. Don't mistake me.. Am not blaming my mom's cooking.. she does prepare tasty food. I just wanted a change. Called my friend and he (note he!) suggested that we go to Ascendas located next to Tidel Park, South Chennai.

Got to know that Ascendas was a International tech park that has come up recently.. The plan was to lunch at the cafeteria there.. Our choice was the KFC stall.. after spending an hour or so, left the place and headed towards City Center..

I had gone past the grand City Center building few times on my way to Marina.. but never made my way inside.. Thanks to this City Center with Inox Multiplex, the traffic in Radhakrishnan Salai (Gemini Flyover to Gandhi Statue) had doubled almost.

By the time we were there, no tickets were available for Inox Shows. We roamed around, spent time with books at Landmark, bought some gift..

When I was home finally, I felt very tired with the driving thru long stretch of heavy traffic roads . Yet I felt happy that I finally managed to spend some time out, catching up with the changing face of Chennai..
