Quite unusually, the last week end turned out to be a longer and pleasant one. ;-)
Yes.. I went to Salem to attend my collegue's marriage reception.. Reached Salem on Saturday morning.. Since the reception was in the evening, my fellow team mates planned for a trip to yercaud, a near by hill station.. I had already visited yercaud few times during my school days.. so the place is not new to me. The weather in Salem was cloudy in the morning.. we expected it to rain during the day..
At Yercaud, dark clouds welcomed us threatening to rain.. we were travelling by a car.. Climbed few peaks.. Vistited view points.. watched mist flowing through.. Had walks thru the rose gardens and dense trees for a while.. Went for boating.. Brought back some pleasant memories from the past.. I enjoyed every minute of my stay in yercaud as I had been missing the "chillness" for a long time.
I wish I were there in yercaud for a longer time cherishing the mother nature and wonderful weather.
I am just wondering why I am not making regular trips to such places inspite of me being a nature lover.. May be lack of my friends to accompany me.. Luckily this time I got a good company in the form of my team mates. Should thank them for the same.
Probably I should start searching for activity partners with similar interests to make such visits often.

@ Sami,
Yes.. We found lot of roses in the Garden.. I mean the flowers. Not sure what you meant by rose. :-)
Thanks for inviting me to Bangalore.. Hope to make it sometime soon. Might be there on a official visit.
